Courtesy: 103.9 The BearServices have been announced for a popular radio DJ for 103.9 The Bear who died earlier this week. The station says Ryan Haukaas, who's on-air name is Reverend Ryno, passed away Tuesday after a stroke on Sunday.
Services are Saturday, October 20 at 11:00am at Bubb Funeral Chapel in Mishawaka.
Reverend Ryno had been with the station since 2005, most recently filling in on the station's midday shift. General Manager Clint Marsh says he had a "heart of gold."
Fans of Reverend Ryno have been posting their condolences to his family and co-workers on his Facebook page. The station plans an on-air tribute to Reverend Ryno starting at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
