President Obama versus Governor Romney in a town-hall debate that featured it's fair share of tension.
The candidates took questions from undecided voters on everything from gas prices to the job market.
There was no desk in between them, instead they were face to face.
We were with students at IUSB as they watched the two go at it.
We got their reaction to the first part of this high-stakes showdown.
In fact, the first question was about the job-outlook for current college students.
With many of them concerned about their future, they were obviously interested in the candidates' responses.
"I think Obama answered it well by breaking it down. He had his five points and went through them. Romney on the other hand didn't really say much, he just said he knew how to do these things, but didn't actually explain how," says student Brock Wappes
Student Matthew Kavanagh says, "It is really hard to find a job right now in the job market and in 2008 President Obama promised that would change and it really hasn't unemployment is still above 8 percent and I don't really see anything improving too soon."
The students said this debate seemed more like a battle than the first debate, with the President coming out of the gate swinging.
