A 28-year-old man from Niles is charged with murder in connection to the deaths of a Cass County couple.
John and Carolyn Tarwacki were killed in their home in February of 2010. For nearly three years, police investigated and family and friends hoped for answers.
In January new hope came as police announced they had found a "person of interest" in the double homicide. On Thursday police could say that a suspect was in custody.
Keith Lintz is charged with two counts of 1st degree murder. Each charge carries with it a sentence of life without parole if Lintz is convicted.
