Red Ribbon week is fast approaching. The red ribbon symbolizes a commitment to drug and alcohol-free lifestyles. The week kicks off Monday with a march from the Colfax Culture Center to the Kroc Center. After the march kids will share their anti-drug and alcohol messages with skits. Organizers say this is a fun way to deliver a serious message. "To focus on not doing drugs. Also participate in a march in a healthy way to get involved and actively engage in doing something good for themselves ," said Gladys Muhammad with the South Bend Heritage Foundation.
