A 15 year old has started a group to help local Veterans. Christen Sullivan started the organization, Christen's Wish, to help veterans. Her father is a disabled veteran and she said the family recently fell on hard times. They almost became homeless but were able to pull through with the help of others. Now Christen wants to give back to other veterans in need. Saturday at the Walmart on Ireland in South Bend Christen's Wish teamed up with Operation First Response to collect items that will help veterans furnish a home. Christen Sullivan said it's all, "to support what they need and everything." And her grandmother, JoAnne Ross, who is a volunteer for the group said, "It's time for us to give back. Everybody needs help and especially our veterans."
