A Michiana man was arrested for bootlegging at a local convenience store.
Excise police officers arrested 42 year old Patrick O'Brien of Granger, after they saw him selling liquor out of his car at Olive Mini Mart in South Bend.
O'Brien told officers his girlfriend, who currently in jail for shoplifting in Michigan, stole the liquor bottles he was selling illegally.
O'Brien was preliminarily charged with maintaining a common nuisance (felony), sale of alcohol without a permit (misdemeanor)
and unauthorized dealings (misdemeanor).
