Here's a way you can get involved on Election day, besides voting of course.
Elkhart County is need of some poll workers.
It can be a tough sell, you have to be willing to work for about 14 hours, for less than minimum wage, but most people see it as a civic duty.
"We just put out the public word, somehow we pull it off every year, but it's gutwrenching right down to the last minute every year for both parties," says Dave Stickel with the Elkhart County Republican Party.
While Elkhart County is still looking for people to step up and work, we checked with St. Joe County and they actually have a waiting list.
