Woman sentenced to ghost employment by Penn Twp. Trustee

The ex-girlfriend of a former Penn Township Trustee was sentenced Wednesday. Sarah Sharp plead guilty to felony ghost employment and conflict of interest.

She was arrested for her role in the misappropriation of funds from Jeffrey Dean's office. Sharp pleaded guilty to taking money from her boyfriend, former Penn Township Trustee Jeffrey Dean, for cleaning work she never finished.

She was sentenced to 18 months with 45 days served and will pay a little over $39,000 in restitution. Dean is serving 18 months with 15 months suspended for official misconduct.
