A celebration of another kind Wednesday at the Century Center in South Bend.
Dozens gathered for the 23rd Annual Disabilities Awareness Luncheon.
It honors people like Keynote Speaker inventor Steve Reidle. Reidle is succeeding in business even though he's living with a disability.
"It's a no quit attitude and you've just got to go for it... you're just got to try," said keynote speaker Steve Reidle.
Workforce Development's Debie Coble said,"It's also about honoring the employers that have hired these individuals to say thank you for looking at the ability first before saying oh this person has a disability ... they cannot do the job."
The event is sponsored by the Rotary Club.
