Warsaw pastor charged with sexual assault of mentally disabled girl

A Warsaw pastor is under arrest, accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old mentally and physically handicapped girl.

Police concluded a 3 month long investigation into 77-year-old Robert Haywood, a pastor at Harvest Time Ministries Church, Friday with an arrest. Haywood is facing charges of Sexual Misconduct and Sexual Battery.

Authorities say that "inappropriate sexual touching occurred in the basement of the church on or about mid- June, 2012," and a second incident "involving fondling and alleged intercourse, occurred in a vehicle in a wooded area in Warsaw in late June 2012."

This is one of two sexual assault arrests in Warsaw from Friday.
