BMX Star Brett Banasiewicz is currently recovering from injuries he suffered during a summer invitational.  The Athlete Recovery Fund posted the following tweet including a video to Brett's Twitter account:

This is a short video shot with Brett during a day of rehabilitation. He has come a long ways and has quite a ways to go. He is inspired by his visitors and the people that tweet him encouraging words. He has a full schedule every day from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and more. Brett chose this song and gave us the approval on the video. Please support Brett and visit athleterecoveryfund.com Stay Strong #MADDOG

FOX 28 sat down with Brett's mom Lisa earlier this week.  She says she is traveling to and from Atlanta where Brett is undergoing hyperbaric treatment.  It's a treatment that is rarely used in brain injuries, but is giving his family a lot of promise.   "If I know Brett and I know his determination and love for the sport, I think he'll be back on that bike," she said.
