Kids had a chance to see how fun chemistry can be Saturday. At the River Park Library in South Bend IUSB students showed children things like conducting electricity, light diffracting, and DNA. The students wanted to open up kids to chemistry and show them how it works in our everyday lives. And the students said they love to see young kids enjoying chemistry. "It's really really fun they love it so much and just to see them so excited and jumping up and down in some cases is very much fun," said IUSB student Ashley Compton.
The hands on experiments for kids were done as part of National Chemistry Week.
