Not all Notre Dame fans were able to hit the road and catch the game in Oklahoma, but they still wanted a lively game-like atmosphere. So they headed out to the bars and there fans were pumped up for the game. "I'm super excited we were the first people in the bar here tonight," said Notre Dame Fan Ryan Vohs.
And they've got good reason to be so excited. Notre Dame Student Casey O'Grady said, "It's a big game we gotta come out get excited about the ND team." And fellow student Andrew Leach said, "This is the probably the most important game of the year determine if they're gonna get to the National Championship."
Since the fans were so excited they didn't want to keep all their energy at home. They said they had to go out to watch the game to try and get the same in the stadium feeling as a home game. "We really want to get in an atmosphere like that where everybody's around, everybody's getting excited," said student Chris Bammerlin.
