If Halloween is any indication, winter just might be snowier and colder.
Tuesday evening, the communities of Nappanee and Wakarusa got a bit of a jump start on trick or treating. It was definitely not one of the beautiful, crisp "trick or treat" nights we've had in the past. But Greg Moeller and his kids say, hurricane or not, they weren't going to miss out on this time-honored tradition.
Moeller says, "We had to modify the costumes a little bit. We have a signing princess that looks more like a bundled up little girl ready to go snow riding and then a power ranger and we only see his mask, but we are still having a great time."
Most communities have trick or treating Wednesday night.
