Hundreds of people showed up for a job fair in Mishawaka this morning.
It took place at the Goodwill Community Career Center.
About a dozen local employers were there representing industries such as retail, food service and healthcare.
Organizers say they are starting to see more and more companies hire again.
"I think people are starting to get hopeful again that the corner is starting to be turned maybe they've dropped out for awhile looking for a job but maybe something like this spurs them on to try again and get back into the workforce," says Debie Coble of Goodwill Industries.
Coble say they plan to have additional job fairs in the future.
