What was supposed to be a night of music and entertainment, ended badly in South Bend. Two people were shot at the Knights of Columbus in the 500 block of East Washington. South Bend Police said a fight broke out during the concert there. Witnesses told them shots were fired from outside into the South entrance of the building. Both victims were taken to Memorial Hospital.
One of them was shot in the back. He had surgery Sunday morning and remains in serious condition. The other victim was shot in the arm. He was treated and released from the hospital.
Police are still looking for the shooter at this time.
