Big day for Notre Dame recruiting. Top linebacker prospect Alex Anzalone announced night he is keeping his commitment to play for Brian Kelly and the Irish. There was speculation Anzalone would decommit and head to the University of Florida, where his dad is an alum. But, Anzalone released a statement on Twitter tonight that he is 100-percent committed to Notre Dame.
He tells our partner Jason Sappy at Blueandgold.com-dot-com that Notre Dame is the "right fit... the players, commits, academics, coaches, everything."
Anzalone is the 43rd overall recruit in the country.
