A local school is helping the victims of Superstorm Sandy.
Holy Cross School in South Bend is sending a truck full of items to victims in New Jersey.
Generators, coats, hats, gloves, towels and toiletries are just some of the items that are being sent.
Organizers say that many Sandy victims in the Northeast still are without power and the temperatures are dropping.
"The folks out there are in rough shape due to the weather conditions, its real cold there now, they are expecting snow today," says Jim Caldwell of Holy Cross Church.

The truck is scheduled to depart Thursday at 6am.
