WaNee Community Schools celebrated their "A" grades from the Indiana Department of Education.
They received an "A" on the public school accountability system.
All five schools received the perfect grade.
So they held a little assembly celebration in the NorthWood High School gymnasium this afternoon.
The principal spoke about the support of the community and staff.
"Our motivation every year is to help our students be the most successful they can be," said NorthWood High School Principal David Maugel. "Giving them the opportunities, the tools, the skills, the knowledge. And I think that is not going to change."
He also credits strong family values in the community as a way to help kids take pride in their success.
He did say he's organizing a surprise for the students to enjoy in a couple of days.... but we can't give away what that is.
