Donnelly faces pressure from voters two days after election

Democratic Senator-elect Joe Donnelly won't have much time to celebrate Tuesday's big win over Republican Richard Mourdock. On Thursday three local groups will pay a visit to Donnelly's South Bend office to deliver a list of demands.

The St. Joseph Valley Project is teaming up with Jobs with Justice and Community Allies. They want Donnelly to commit to invest in jobs and protect Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security by asking the richest two percent of Americans to pay "their fair share" of taxes.

The groups will hold a press conference and a rally at the Marycrest Building at 2015 W. Western Avenue in South Bend at 10 a.m. Thursday. From there, they will deliver their demands to Donnelly's office at noon.
