The Berrien Springs volleyball team was playing for it's first regional championship in 26 years. 1986 was a good year, they not only won the regional but the Shamrocks went all the way to capture the state crown as well.
Berrien Springs wins the regional 3-1. Jillian Wold scored 19 points with 5 aces, Holly Toliver added 10 points and 2 aces.
The Shamrocks will play Allegan in the Quarter-finals Tuesday at 7pm against the Thornapple vs Kellogg regional winner.
