In recognition of men and women who have and continue to serve in our military, many area organizations and businesses are offering veterans some special deals this weekend. Below you can find a few of the offers for our servicemen and women.
Salon Udon: Free haircuts for veterans on Monday.
Notre Dame: Anyone who presents a military identification card can purchase tickets to the men's basketball season opener against Evansville at 2:00 pm (ET) at Purcell Pavilion for themselves and family members for just $5.
Papa Vino's in Mishawaka: Free entrée and small salad from a specially selected Veterans Day menu Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 11 a.m. to close with proof of service.
Drive and Shine Car Washes: On Sunday, veterans and active service members will be treated to a free diamond car wash at all Michiana-area drive and shine locations.
Mike's Carwash, Inc.: Free carwash on Sunday for all veterans and active military.
Studebaker Museum: Free admission to all veterans and those currently serving in the Armed Forces, and their families on Sunday.
Martin's Supermarkets: From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on November 11, any active, inactive or retired military veteran of any U.S. service branch is eligible to receive the free meal, available at any Martin's Deli with proof of service.
