What you give could save someone's life... and right now, what you get, could save Thanksgiving... or your thanksgiving meal, that is.
Muessel Primary Center held a blood drive in its parking lot today.
Muessel staff member Stacy Kirsch wanted to put together a blood drive for some time to help the community.
In exchange for their blood, they gave donors a voucher for a turkey.
Some turned the turkey's back into the school to be raffled off.
"One of things we're offering to families is raffling off free turkeys. And this is a good way to help the community with donations to the blood drive but is also a way we could give back to Muessel," said Muessel Primary Center's Principal Mike Budzinski.
They will be doing that raffle on Family Math Night on November 20th.
