Oakridge Baptist Church is on a mission to brighten the lives of children this holiday season..
Their mission is to fill shoe boxes with gifts while spreading faith.
The group has sent thousands of boxes to kids overseas.
The boxes are filled with school supplies, toys, candy and hygiene products.
"Its tons of fun. Its one of those things we started out as a mission for the children but the whole church has just taken it on," said Operation Christmas Child's Connie Hartwig. "Because everybody can participate in..you either bring something or each box is seven dollars for postage."

the group will be working all week at their church.
It's located on Oakridge Drive in Saint Joseph, Michigan
The boxes will be taken to Niles Monday... Then will be shipped all over the world.
