The Food Bank of Northern Indiana is looking to make sure everyone in Michiana has enough food heading into the holiday season. All month long they've been visiting cities in the area with their mobile food pantry.
On Tuesday the mobile food pantry will visit God's Highway to Heaven at 555 Webber Street in Warsaw from 10 a.m. to noon. The Food Bank expects to be able to give enough food to feed 300 households during that two-hour time period.
Food is first come, first served for families in need. To get in on the charity, you will need to bring a valid photo I.D. like your driver's license or state-issued identification card. You're as lo asked to bring your own bags and boxes to take the food home.
This isn't the last time the mobile food pantry will be on the road this month. It will head to Plymouth on Friday, Michigan City on Tuesday November 20, Goshen on Tuesday November 27 and Elkhart on Friday November 30.
