Murder charge for teen accused of South Bend shooting

What started out as a drug deal led to deadly gunfire, and now charges for two teenagers.

The Saint Joe County Prosecutor's office filed formal murder charges against 16-year-old Rayterrion Wheeler. 18-year-old Herbert Brown III is charged with assisting a criminal.

Police say they responded to a call in South Bend last week where they found a man named Mack Caldwell suffering from a gunshot wound. He later died.

Wheeler is currently being held in the St. Joseph County Jail without bond.
