Berrien County man killed in ATV rollover accident

A 69-year-man is dead after his ATV rolled over onto him while he was coming home from a hunting trip.

August Froehlich found his brother Elmer pinned under his ATV Friday morning. August told police that his brother had been deer hunting on Thursday and must have been coming home when the accident happened.

Emergency medical personnel were called out, but Elmer was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident does remain under investigation and an autopsy is planned.
