Notre Dame fans are certainly stoked about Saturday's home win.
A North Carolina couple is celebrating both a Number 1 ranking and an engagement.
Our cameras caught Brad Hicks proposing to his girlfriend Briana Cunningham on the field just as the clock ran out.
Briana is a huge Notre Dame fan so the couple drove up for the big game.
She says Brad's proposal was a dream come true.
"From all my friends it has been that he picked the perfect place and the perfect time and the perfect day to do it," says Cunningham.
"I didn't think we were actually be able to get on the field you know I thought maybe in the first row of seats or something like that but never did I think we'd get down there you know on the end zone basically," says Hicks.
The pair has known eachother since grade school and were homecoming king and queen, but weren't dating at that time.
They and their family say their relationship is right out of a fairytale and so was the proposal.
