Businesses in downtown South Bend are sad to see the Irish football season come to an end.
The success of the football team has been a boon for many downtown businesses.
They say this year has been different and they've noticed an increase in new customers.
They also say they've noticed more customers from out of town this year.
"It's been my experience that as their winning we get busier because people are going out more and celebrating, overall I think its been a very positive impact in the community," says John Dawson manager at Cafe Navarre.
Notre Dame is set to play their final regular season game on the road this Saturday against rival USC.
