Muessel Primary Center held its family math night to hand out a big goodie for Thanksgiving dinner. Turkeys!
The turkeys were donated from last week's blood drive at the school.
As people donated blood they received a voucher for a turkey from Martin's supermarkets.
Some donors decided to give their vouchers to Muessel to help some families.
More than a dozen turkeys were given out tonight--two for each grade.
"Its great. Its my second year as principal here and I love it," said Principal Mike Budzinski."There's no other place I'd rather be. We're a family here so its really just a good thing."
In addition to the turkey raffle, families got to enjoy some quality time together.
They played games, did jigsaw puzzles and took some activities to finish at home.
