Salvation Army serves Thanksgiving meals

The Salvation Army of Elkhart helped to feed the needy today.

They partnered with the Matterhorn Conference Center to serve Thanksgiving meals.

Organizers say they planned to serve over 2,000 people by the end of the day.

When they opened the doors at 11am they already had over 200 people lined up.

Organizers hope to make the event even bigger next year.
