Shoppers in Michiana flocked to the mall to take advantage of Black Friday deals.
The University Park Mall in Mishawaka saw large crowds of shoppers throughout the night and into the day.
Many stores opened at midnight with shoppers lined up outside.
Most people seemed excited for the years biggest shopping day.
"I heard there's some pretty good deals at some of the clothing stores around, I'm trying to get some new suits and maybe check out some of the gadgets," says Nick Zilkowski of South Bend.
Many shoppers also noted that since many stores started their deals on Thursday, crowds seemed smaller than last year.
