A lot has been building up to this day. Notre Dame is taking on U-S-C. A game that's usually an important one, but this time, everything is on the line. Not everyone could make the trip to Los Angeles to watch the important game, so bars across Michiana are packed as fans root on their team.
Our cameras stopped by Mulligan's where the crowd was constantly cheering. They also sang along to the fight song before the game started and the alma matter. To say the fans are excited is an understatement. And they also recognize how big this game is and how big the entire season has been for South Bend. Notre Dame Fan Angelo Logrande said, "we've waited a long time for this. This town's waited a long time for this." and Owner of Mulligan's, Sue Mulligan said, we are very excited. We can't wait. This town is exploding!"
Mulligan's is having a pajama party Saturday night as they watch the game. Owner Sue Mulligan said they'll even wear their pajamas to go to the airport and welcome the team back Sunday morning.
