For many people, their pets are family.
When one passes, pet owners may want to be able to give them a proper burial.
A business in Elkhart County is helping them do that, while tapping into a industry that could mean big bucks.
It may sound a little odd, but a new business called Pet Honor Casket manufactures and sells caskets for your pets.
"Veterinarians tells us that 90 percent of the deceased pets get brought to them in a plastic trash bag and that's just no way we want to treat a member of our family and beloved pets," says Bert Molner with Pet Honor Casket.
The caskets come in five sizes, starting at $199.
The largest casket can fit a miniature pony.
