Super Storm Sandy has fallen from the headlines, but the needs are still there.
That's why Feed The Hungry is getting ready to take another truck load of supplies to New York City and they can use your help.
In the beginning, they were taking water and ready to eat meals... but now the needs have changed.
"We'd love to receive any kind of blankets, winter clothing, winter coats are in demand, but especially household cleaning goods, bleach, buckets, mops," said Director of Logistics for Feed the Hungry Bob Boucek. "People are trying to rehabilitate their homes."
As of November 28th. Michiana has responded with 15 pallets of donations.
They'll be collecting items through the end of the week... at their Feed the Hungry warehouse on South Ironwood Drive during normal business hours.
