Well the Elkhart Environmental Center has some creative ways to help you wrap your gifts.They held a recycled gift wrap workshop at their center tonight.
Participants learned how to convert items that usually go to the landfill into wrapping paper and bags.
Some of those items are shopping bags and aluminum cans.
Plus it saves you from having to spend more money on wrapping materials.
"Will also be using plastic containers.. I'm going to highlight a container that had cookies in it at one point," said Elkhart Environmental Center's Ericka's Popovich Coy. "A to-go salad container that's been washed out so that's another item we'll be using. As well as paper shopping bags."
In addition to the recycled items..ribbon and Christmas cards were used to add some decoration.
