Looking for a part-time job this winter? St. Joseph County Parks say they want to talk to you. Winter sports season runs from December 26 to February 24 and the organization needs workers at St. Pat's Park and Ferrettie-Baugo Creek County Park.
Available positions include:
- Innertubing hill monitor
- Cross-country ski rental
- Snowshoe rental
- Concessions and gatehouse attendant
The job pays $7.25 an hour. It includes an extensive weekend, holiday and night schedule. You must be 15 years of age and be enrolled in high school, possess a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass a mandatory pre-hiring drug test.
All applications must be turned in by December 7. If you'd like to fill one out you can find it on the Parks Department web site.
