More than 3,000 yards of clay was dumped into Plymouth Speedway as the conversion from asphalt to dirt is underway. They estimate it took 150 loads and expect at least 150 more before it's all said and done.
Opening weekend for the all dirt track will be April 12th. And they've already got a big slate for the upcoming season, with NASCAR drivers Ken Schrader and David Stremme racing June 15th and Tony Stewart will be back in town for the Bob Newton Classic August 17th.
