Santa ditched the sleigh and rode in style on a motorcycle in a parade in Downtown Elkhart Saturday evening.
Crowds lined Main Street to watch floats lit up for the season.
Folks were then treated to the lighting of the city's Christmas tree.
Both events are part of Elkhart's ten day Winterfest.
New to the area, the Davis family learned how Elkhart celebrates the holiday season.
"This is our first year here so being able to celebrate this with the community for the first time was kind of an exciting thing," says Chris Davis who attended Winterfest.
The festivities did not end with the tree lighting.
Folks headed over to the Nibco ice rink and skated under the lights.
