Santa and his elves were also in Elkhart Sunday afternoon for Santa's Pantry. Visitors donated non perishable foods to fill the shelves of Pantries and Kitchens United. The organization is a collection of seven local pantries. Sunday's event gave families a chance to spend time together during this busy holiday season. "That's one thing with Santa's Pantry too we try to help the non-profits but we're really big on families being able to spend family quality time together. All of our events are low cost so that families can do that and just get out and have some fun with their families to do something," said Debbie Micola, the Director of Santa's Pantry.
Santa's Pantry is part of Elkhart's ten day Winterfest.
