Students wanting a chance to purchase tickets for the ND and Alabama National Championship game need to act fast. The ticket box office started taking applications immediately following the Irish's official invitation to the game.
"Our demand at this point is well over 100,000 tickets for an allotment of 17 so tickets are very scarce and we're doing our best to accommodate as much of the Notre Dame family as possible," says Josh Berlo, assistant athletic director.
There will be two lottery draws. One for students and one for general admission. The deadline to be entered into the general admission lottery has officially closed. The deadline for the student lottery is Wednesday. Results of the lotteries will be available in about a week.
