The superintendent of the Constantine Public Schools says the district has suspended a kindergarten teacher with pay while it investigates a report that two 5-year-old boys engaged in sex play in a classroom.
Chuck Frisbie notified parents of the matter in a letter Tuesday. He says Constantine police are investigating the report from Eastside Elementary School.
Frisbie tells Mlive.com that the matter came to light Nov. 27 when several parents contacted the southwestern Michigan school.
He tells WLKM-FM that the investigation likely will proceed slowly because it involves interviewing children and the boys' parents.
