The Downtown South Bend Christmas trees on the corner are back!
Each tree is sponsored by a business in the downtown area.
Many of the trees have a theme..Joan's Older Chain has a cold and flu tree..with packets of ramen noodles and cough drops.
Some other trees have Silverhawks tickets, LaSalle Grill coupons and gloves and hats.
And the best part about this--all the items are free.
"The trees are being met with delight. I think people stop and really take a chance to look at them and see the clever things that people might have on the tree," said Downtown South Bend's Executive Director Aaron Perri."It's been real fun seeing the smiles that's its bringing to people's faces."
The trees will be up through New Years so you still have some time to visit them.
They're on Michigan Street from Colfax Avenue to Wing.
