UDPATE: Body found in South Bend alley identified

St. Joseph County Metro Homicide has identified the victim of a shooting in South Bend.

The body of 42-year-old Andre Byrd was found Thursday morning. The coroner says Byrd died from a gunshot wound to the head.

Metro Homicide is continuing to interview witnesses as part of the murder investigation.
