Some Marian High School art students are lending their talents to make Christmas gifts. The students were helping guests at the Center for the Homeless tonight.
This is the 15th year the school has helped celebrate the holiday spirit in a creative way.
Students and guests enjoyed eating Christmas cookies while decorating stockings, making ornaments and many other crafts.
The best part for the students--spending time with the young kids.
"Our students really understand community service and I think one of the wonderful gifts they're learning is that we're all in this together," said Arts Department Chair Kitty Gunty. "And we want to serve one another and we can give what we can."
The number of students signing up for this event has steadily increased each year.
