For months now, families across Northern Indiana have been getting much needed help with daily meals. The Food Bank of Northern Indiana has been hitting the road once a week and delivering healthy food to communities in one of six area counties.
The mobile pantries are set up at specific locations where local families can come and pick up perishable items for free. On Friday, the pantry set up at the Charles Black Recreation Center in South Bend.
If you, or someone you know, could use some help right now, the mobile pantry will be visiting the following locations in December:
