The Notre Dame football team got verbal commitment #4 for the class of 2014 Saturday. Jimmy Byrne is 6'4" 285 lb offensive lineman from St. Ignatius High School in Ohio. He chose the Irish over Ohio State, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan State and West Virginia.
It's a huge recruiting weekend on campus as the Irish are hosting a number of athletes including 2013 recruit Greg Bryant. The Oklahoma decommit from Florida is considered the 2nd best runningback in the country for the class of 2013.
