It's a busy time of year for Santa, but he made time to visit ice skaters at Howard Park Sunday.
South Bend Parks finished up a weekend of Christmas activities with the 24th annual Skating with Santa event.
Kids got to sit on Santa's lap and get a bag full of goodies. There was also face painting and of course plenty of time on the ice.
"We had to bring pet food in and we got to see Santa and he got to try skating. So there's a lot to do," says Genia Curl who took her son skating.
Folks donated two pet food items to skate. All proceeds go to South Bend Animal Center.
