UPDATE: Body found in Elkhart County identified

The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department has identified the body found in Elkhart on Monday.

Police say the call came in around 11:16 a.m. saying a body was located on a property in the area of County Road 111 just north of County Road 20.

Authorities say 54-year-old Christopher Hinshaw was found badly burned outside a storage garage. Police are continuing to investigate. The official cause of death, and origins of the fire are still yet to be determined.
