Mishawaka's Anna Rohrer has been all kinds of attention lately and she deserves it. The sophomore is the best cross country runner in the country. She just won the Footlocker National Championship in San Diego... Monday, she celebrated her win with just a few of her good friends.
More like a few hundred of her closest family and friends. Mishawaka Mayor Dave Wood was on hand to present Anna with a key to the city and proclaiming December 8, 2012 Anna Rohrer National Champion Day.
She also won the state and regional championships this season. It's something Anna and her parents are proud of and she says it's taken a while but it is finally sinking in.
